Step One:
Clean Surface. Wash the surface with soap and water or a mild cleaning detergent.
Step Two: Position Your Lettering. Using a level or ruler, determine the exact place you will lay your vinyl lettering (you can make a small mark with a pencil, this will erase with soapy water). Position your lettering (not the transfer tape but the actual vinyl) to the upper edge of the marks. Tape the upper corners of the vinyl lettering to hold it in place. Rub over the lettering with a credit card, library card, hand, etc...
Step Three: Remove the Backing Paper (Bottom Layer). Flip up the entire quote (the tape should hold the top of quote in place) and slowly peel off the backing at a 180 degree angle. Make sure all of the letters adhere to the transfer tape. If it is not adhering to the transfer tape, flip the quote back over and rub it with your credit card again and try again. Once removed, flip the transfer tape back over onto your surface.
